Hello, and welcome back to another busy week here at PROP.architecture! I know I say this every week, but I am SO excited to share with you this week’s book from the PROP.reads challenge: “Will It Fly?” by Pat Flynn. As you might’ve noticed from last week’s review, I am a big proponent of Pat Flynn’s work. In the field of internet business, there really isn’t anybody out there doing it as well as him. Last week’s book “Let Go” was all about abandoning your hesitations and frustrations about beginning your own business journey in order to jumpstart your success. In “Will It Fly?” Flynn challenges your next business idea, and helps you put it to the test so that you understand how to get the most out of that idea and any future ones.
“Will It Fly?”
This is not your average personal development book. The main thing I enjoyed about this book is the interaction. The entire book is basically a step-by-step guide to testing your idea (or generating one if you don’t have one just yet). Alongside the book, Flynn offers an online companion course with extra content and tutorials to help you in the process of experimenting with your idea.
Many of the ideas in the book, I have already begun to implement in my plan for PROP.architecture, and it was a lot of fun to do the individual research and testing in each chapter of the book.
I listened to the book in audiobook format, but I also followed along in the companion course, and have since purchased a hard-copy of the book for notetaking.
The encouragement that Pat Flynn provides, not only in this book but in all of the content he produces, keeps you going throughout the book, and really inspires you to create the content with ease that will be the foundation of your new business.
With the holidays approaching, “Will It Fly?” is the perfect gift for the aspiring entrepreneur in your family! Be sure and check out this book, along with all of the other books in the PROP.reads series, below. And after you read it, please come back and tell me what inspired you!
